Alot of people in the comments don't realize that hating this song doesn't automaticaly mean your a homophobe. Personal preference exists and as a bi guy myself I dislike this song. I 100% agree with the cause, but painting all Christian women and straight white men as horrible (evident by the disgusted look on her face). is bs. And Im sorry but the fact its sung by someone who, I'm gonna be honest, looks like a drug addict doesn't help the cause in any way. No outsider is gonna take this seriously and if anything this actually gives the homophobes more content. The lyrics also contradict the message: "There's more of us than there is of you" would mean that the majority of the US supports LGBT+, which would mean there was no reason to make this song in the first place.
